NTTS was initially accredited in 1965 and has maintained this prestigious accreditation ever since. To be accredited, each school must open its doors to a thorough inspection by an outside examining committee, supply all information required by the commission and subject its instructional material and teaching methods to a thorough review by highly qualified subject matter specialists. To retain this accreditation, this inspection and review process is repeated every five years.
