Mill Group Limited (Investors in the Community) in Something Directory
Investors in the Community is a programme of investment in social infrastructure assets through Public Private Partnerships. The Investors in the Community Programme is committed to long term investment in local communities and working in partnership to ensure that the beneficial impact of that investment goes beyond the contractual relationship. The Investors in the Community Programme has a substantial number of operational projects under management, providing over 15,000 learning places in schools, primary care healthcare and mental health facilities for over 500,000 patients, as well as other accommodation and cultural facilities for local authorities and the communities they serve. The Investors in the Community Programme invests long term investment funds in PPP projects. The main institutional fund, IIC Fund II, was launched in 2004 as the first PPP investment fund backed equally by public and private sector investment institutions. It has an immediate capacity of in excess of £750 million for new projects that will, in partnership with public sector partners, deliver improved services to local communities. Founded by Mill Group, Investors in the Community has been joined by Land Securities Trillium as a joint venture partner in the Programme. The new partnership, which builds upon a successful, ongoing collaboration between the two organisations, will capitalise on their complementary strengths to offer future public sector partners a compelling breadth of expertise, capacity, and resources.
