The sealed construction makes them suitable for indoor or outdoor use in the hostile environments of manufacturing industries, steelworks, quarries, mines, ships and chemical plants. Since commencing manufacture in 1971, JENSTAR has supplied over 100,000 encapsulated transformers in ratings up to 100 kVA.
