Benbro Electronics is an ‘Engineering Based’ Electronic equipment design and manufacturing facility located in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We specialise in the design and manufacture of Power supplies, DC – DC converters, Battery chargers no break DC supplies and associated equipment for the communications, mining and transport industries. Benbro also custom designs and manufactures other specialist electronic equipment for solar power, emergency services and military applications. Benbro have the facilities to custom design, prototype and manufacture products to suit your individual needs and welcome your enquiries. Benbro has a policy of seeking strategic partnerships with other O.E.M.s and are keen to be involved in equipment design at the earliest possible stage allowing our designs to be fully integrated giving customers the maximum benefit of our innovative ideas and technical contributions. Business Mission: Benbro Electronics Pty Ltd was established in 1985 with the object of designing and manufacturing quality Electronic equipment with an emphasis on high Australian content. The company is committed to provide a safe and stable work environment and to employ modern and advanced design and production methods. Background: Benbro was established in 1985 and is jointly owned by its Directors Steven & John Bennett, combining their expertise in Electronic equipment design and manufacture with sound financial management. Production of a limited range of commercial Public Address Amplifiers began at their Brookvale premises in February 1986.The product range was quickly expanded to include Power Supplies and DC-DC Converters for specialised applications. In 1990 Benbro saw the need for early involvement in our customer projects to maximise our technical contribution to their systems. We formed strategic partnerships with many major companies such as Motorola, B.P. Solar & A.D.I. and continue to design and manufacture equipment for their needs.
