Atlas Machine Company was celebrating its first New Year’s Day in 1907, we were manufacturing elevators and providing repair and replacement parts for those intriguing contraptions called automobiles, which were just beginning to occupy the streets of Louisville, Kentucky in growing numbers. Today, over one hundred New Years days later, Atlas Machine and Supply, Inc. has evolved into the region’s most complete resource for industrial solutions. Three generations of family-owned leadership have navigated Atlas through the Great Depression, the 1937 Flood and two World Wars, all the while serving the community and adapting to the needs of the industrial marketplace. Our challenges have presented themselves in continually changing faces: elevators, auto parts and repairs, large equipment remanufacturing and specialized industrial services. Yet, this remains constant: our style of providing responsive solutions to our customers challenges.
