Doodlebug Press in Something Directory

 

Doodlebug Press was started in 2003 by Sharon Bittner in Shakopee, Minnesota. Sharon decided to start the company after endlessly searching for creative, original and affordable announcements and invitations for her son. She had been looking for a new career that would allow her to do what she really loves which was painting, and creating cards was the perfect outlet for it. Her goal with the company was to produce announcements and invitations that were creative and also affordable for a variety of special occasions. I am a Minnesotan through and through. I was born and raised in a suburb of Minneapolis and continue to live in a suburb of Minneapolis. Since high school I have had a love for watercolor painting and over the years I was looking for a way to use my painting. I was lucky enough to have found that creating illustrations for cards gave me a great outlet for that love. So I decided to combine two loves of mine, which are painting and dogs. Now I am able to spend my days doing what I love, painting and spending time with my dog Maggie (Maggie?s photo is below).
