Welcome to the John Spring website, where you will find post-1945 numismatic auction catalogues for sale, ranked as a single list by date within alphabetic order of auction house. We have good runs of the coin auction catalogues of London auctioneers Christie’s, Glendining or Glendining’s, Sotheby’s and Spink or Spink’s, together with shorter lists of Baldwin’s, Bonham’s, Buckland Dix Noonan Webb and other London firms. From Switzerland we have numismatische Auktionskataloge of Hess-Leu (Luzern), Leu (Zurich), M.u.M. Munzen und Medaillen (Basel) and smaller lists of other auctioneers, and from Germany Lanz (Munich, Munchen), Munz Zentrum Koln, Peus (Frankfurt) and some others. French entries include catalogues de vente numismatiques of Bourgey and Vinchon of Paris. We have many catalogues of auctioneers not mentioned here, and a fair number of pre-1945 sales, so please enquire.
