Our mission statement is simple and is reflected in our products and the way we go about building the business everyday. We’re passionate about what we do and constantly challenge ourselves to push the envelope to what is achievable from our talented staff to the innovative products we offer. Polr has been in business for over 9 years and we have only put out three generations of product. Each generation surpasses the previous by leaps and bounds and that’s the way we like it. The latest generation, dubbed “the ATG-Hybrid”, was introduced in 2005/06 and is our hottest selling system yet. It took us three years to get it ready to be offered but, then again, we’ve never been in a hurry just to get something out there. This generation of shock absorbers is lighter, sleeker and tougher than our previous generations, which is saying a lot since our previous generation was solely made of, “aerospace grade”, 7000-series aluminum. We have some even bigger things planned for the near future but let me first tell about what we currently have to offer... This years’ ATG-Hybrid still has components made of the 7000-series aluminum but we’ve also progressed our products to utilize the same advanced composite materials and processes used in today’s cutting edge space programs. This allows us to continue to offer the best shock absorber products in the Action Sport Markets. When I first began developing and prototyping the first generation of snowboarding shock absorbers I had no idea that it would turn into what it is today. At the very beginning I developed the shock absorbers for myself. Because of past sports injuries, I can not take significant impact to my left ankle and I knew if I was going to continue participating in the sports I enjoyed most I had to come up with something that was going to allow me to do so. Today, we have a small team of dedicated people that share my passion and vision. That vision is to provide the absolute best products in the markets we serve, help snow and wakeboarders gain the next level of performance and enhance the sports they already love to begin with.
