Thats one of the reasons store owner, Mary Ann Chappelear started the retail business in 1987. After tiring of her search for certain items – specialized products, books, and horsey gifts – she opened her doors in downtown Lebanon offering these hard-to-find products. In 2007, the Vogel Family joined the business in order to bring in fresh ideas. Today, The Tack Trunk still prides itself in our wide selection, including the most innovative products on the market. Twenty years later, in an expanded location on Route 42, the store continues to thrive, drawing customers from the Tri-State region and beyond.
