After losing Ashley to EPM (Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis), it was my intention to help fight the disease that took her life. EPM attacks the spinal cord and the nervous system and is a debilitating and often fatal neurological disease. We have chosen to support the research currently underway at the University of Pennsylvanias New Bolton Center. Research at New Bolton is focused on the diagnosis of the disease and its response to treatment. A portion of the proceeds from the purchase of any Ashleys Heart Pendants, Ashleys Heart Bracelets, or Ashleys Heart Key Chains will be donated to New Bolton to help fund their research.
