Eleiko has taken an active part in international weightlifting for almost 50 years and within the family of weightlifting Eleiko has become a concept. The trademark stands for quality, service and engagement. Since the Weightlifting World Championships in Stockholm in 1963, when the Eleiko bar for the first time was used in an international championship, to the world championships in Vancouver Canada in 2003, more than 750 world records have been set with Eleiko barbells, probably a record in itself. Participating in international competitions is an important part in our evolution and it is there, in the close relation with lifters and coaches, we get the impulses for our product developments.
