Fourth Element NZ Ltd is run by Pete Mesley, Zimbabwean born, living in NZ now for over 12 years. Married with two daughters, Pete is a highly accomplished diver / adventure seeker with his biggest passion being under the water more than he is above it! Pete has been in the diving industry for over 13 years now and well known in the diving arena. Pete is an instructor trainer in both recreational and technical diving fields. With more than 3000+ hours under water spanning over 14 different countries, his biggest passion lies with deep wreck exploration, searching for, finding and diving ships which have been gone for decades. Pete first got introduced to Fourth element when he purchased one of their “Xerotherm” thermal undersuits and it was all ancient history from then onwards. Pete goes on to say… “ Being involved in extreme sports in extreme environments I have to rely on my gear. If it doesn’t function then I am in big trouble. When I am spending 5 hours in 12-14 degrees of water I expect and demand 100% out of my gear.
