It’s the early 1980’s - MTV, stone washed jeans and Miami Vice rule. Mike Graham, inspired by a love of surfing and climbing, launches Gramicci from his garage in Southern California. He designs the now famous gusseted crotch and cinch/release belt that have become a legend in the outdoor community. With grassroots efforts and word of mouth, the love for Gramicci began to grow. By the late 1990’s Gramicci was coveted for its freedom of movement, quality, comfort and functionality. Fast forward to 2006 and Gramicci – the soul brand of the outdoor industry - is still creating garment dyed, worn and weathered clothing built for the sport of living. Paying homage to the original designs launched by Mike two decades prior, the design team is busy creating the next generation of Gramicci. With a new foundation we are committed to developing new natural technology and innovative designs each season that bring a fresh perspective to the outdoor marketplace.
