The inspiration for traveling tikes came in 1997 when our son Max was born. As busy parents we searched in vain for any one store that could help us find all the baby products and baby essentials that we needed. It didnt exist! Thats when my idea for traveling tikes blossomed. In 1998 traveling tikes was launched offering a large selection of hard to find items and reaching thousands of parents with those very same needs. Just a short nine months later our specialty store opened in Century City, California. At traveling tikes we carefully evaluate each item for design, quality and customer satisfaction before its added online. The added benefit to our store is the close relationship we have with ours customers and the constant feed back we receive from them on a daily basis.
