Daves Dougout is a sportscard and collectibles store located in Albany, California, 2 minutes north of Berkeley, 15 minutes north of Oakland, and 20 minutes east of San Francisco and Marin County. Weve been serving the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond since 1988. Weve been seen on television and radio, in Scrye, InQuest and various newspapers and magazines. We opened in April 1988 as a combination sports card and kitchen accessories shop. By September, we turned into a full-service sports card shop, adding a variety of sports-related items. From 1989 to 1992, we ran a second store on Mt. Diablo Blvd. in Lafayette, California. In 1993, we ventured onto the internet by joining Compuserve and America Online, doing the majority of our online business in the AOL Grandstand Sports Card area. We began e-mail auctions in 1995 and in 1997, we began auctioning cards on eBay. In 2000, we added Yahoo! to our auction business. In August 1998, we moved out of our cramped home on Solano Avenue and into our current location on San Pablo Avenue. Currently, we carry singles, packs and boxes of cards from all sports, Blue Marlin and official issue hats, posters, photos, autographed baseballs, supplies, Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering and other Collectible Card Games and comic books. We run weekly auctions in-store along with auctions always running on eBay and Yahoo!
